Bulletin Board Evaluation

I saw somebody else already did this one but being a Winnie the Pooh fan growing up I was immediately drawn to this bulletin board. The bulletin board has "layered" lettering which is very easy to read from a distance. On some informative bulletin boards doing the lettering this way could be distracting from information but this one seems to be purely decoration to support a particular theme so I think it's okay. The colors of the lettering add to the Easter/Spring theme. I found this bulletin board in room 205 of McKay during one of my classes. It had an appropriate theme for the time of the year it was displayed I think if this same bulletin board was in an early childhood or elementary classroom the children would love it because they are familiar with the characters. This particular bulletin board breaks the three color rule but it was necessary to have all the characters the proper color. What is also so creative and attention drawing is the fact that the bulletin boards is made with towels. There is a clear border to the bulletin board using plastic easter eggs that isn't too distracting. The only thing I do find distracting and would have changed are the two white bunnies in the front. There are already four Winnie the Pooh characters and I feel like they are the focus of the board and are enough for this board and the bunnies weren't necessary. Overall I think this is a wonderful bulletin board to support or enhance a classroom's theme of Easter or Spring.
